Description:
Primary wound dressing, non-adherent leno -weave cotton fabric of fine mesh &
interlocking threads dressing evenly impregnated with best quality of Non Medicated
Soft Paraffin (Petroleum jelly) of Pharmacopoeia standard.

Indication AND Application:
Indication:
As primary wound dressing for skin loss, burns, ulcers, skin grafts (both donor & receptor site), Lacerated wounds, various traumatic injuries.
For prevention of secondary dermatitis caused by pirating discharge.
Protect the surrounding of wounds skin.
Used in treatment of post plastic & cosmetic surgery.
Contra Indication:
Patients sensitive to soft paraffin should not use.
Contra indications are rare occur, in case dressing treated for heavy exuding wound the semi - occlusive nature cause maceration by
preventing of exudates away from the surface of the wound.
Direction for Use:
Clean the wound & apply the appropriate size of wound surface area to be treated and cover with appropriate secondary dressing.
Frequency of change:
The Frequency of dressing depends upon the condition & nature of wound. If dressing left in a position for the longer period it may be
adherent & can damage tissue upon removal.
